The NY Senate bill S879C and NY Assembly bill would limit the unSAFE act to Kings, Queens, Richmond, New York and Bronx counties. This would essentially repeal the unSAFE act for “upstate” New York.
The bill is sponsored by Robert Ortt in the NY Senate and by Marc Butler in the NY Assembly. Call your legislator and ask them to support these bills.
